In these grim times of pandemic, the community of Mossley, an old mill town in the hills of the South Pennines, has decided to bring some light and good cheer to Christmas festivities.
Because Christmas community light-ups are impossible, on social distancing safety grounds, we are urging everyone to light up their windows and stand on their own doorstep joining in with the community singing of ‘Jingle Bells’ at 6.00pm on Saturday 28th November 2020.
This will be followed by a special online concert featuring Jon Courtenay (winner of ‘Britain’s Got Talent 2020’), the Kyla Brox Band and many more exciting Mossley performers. This initiative is backed by Mossley Town Council and the local community.
