Mossley Remembrance Service – Sunday 14 November 2021


Mossley Town Council is pleased to announce that the conventional Remembrance Service at the War Memorial outside Mossley Hall will resume this year.

The service will commence at 10.45 on Sunday 14 November 2021 under the direction of The Reverend David Warner, Vicar of St George’s Church.

The now customary maroons will be fired from Mossley Hall at the commencement and conclusion of the period of two minutes silence.

After the service, Mossley Band will lead the procession, in which all attendees are invited to participate, to Seel Park where light refreshments will be available in the Mossley AFC Social Club. The route of the procession will be via Stamford Road – Stamford St – Market St with dispersal at Seel Park.
